A scrappy weekend

Oh yes, not only were two layouts produced on Thursday, I did two more over the weekend too. One was completed yesterday and the other just needs me to make up my mind which of my many alphas will look best on it and then it’ll just take a couple of minutes to finish it.

This is the finished one. As you can see, we’re back on the Disney photopass ones.

It did start out using more of my shiny new stash but it didn’t work as well as I thought it would with the photo so out came the Marrakech which, let’s face it, is made to go with Goofy photos. And yes, before any smart alec points it out, that is a peacock hiding its head under the photo. There’s no way I’m going to be using a peacock sticker on anything any time soon so let’s pretend it’s just a pretty pattern, ok?

I did use some of my new distress stickles and ink on the very old chipboard, and there are some dots of stickles down the edge of the photo as well. I had fun with that – I haven’t played with stickles for ages and these are lovely and grungey coloured.

Right, let’s see if I can narrow down the selection and pick an alpha for the other layout and then hopefully I’ll have something to stick on my blog tomorrow…
