ASIS – finished

I am really pleased with how this has turned out. It’s not perfect by any means, but that poodly/loopy yarn hides all the wobbly bits very nicely indeed. It’s finished off with a button fastening which is made separately so you can use it or not. There are several ways you can wear an infinity scarf so I’ve taken a few photos to demonstrate – and to show off my first crochet finish in years.

This is the scarf doubled and fastened with the button tie. I like wearing it like this. It’s nice and snuggly around my neck and the tie adds a nice touch.

ASIS01This is it doubled without the tie.

ASIS02It can also be worn like a normal scarf, wrapped around the neck and pulled through the loop.

ASIS04Or, for a different look, it can be worn long and fastened with the tie.

ASIS03I’d quite like to get some variegated yarn in a nice DK and do another one of these. I bet it would crochet up very quickly in a plainer yarn, and look pretty with a stripey effect.
