Sammie’s tree

Months ago, when we’d finally decided that we were definitely going to get a cat once we got back from our holidays, we spotted a Zoofari cat tree on sale in Lidl. So, we bought it. We knew we’d want one and it seemed like too good a bargain to pass on.

Sammie loves it. It’s got lots of things on it to amuse her. There are several sisal posts to scratch. It has three tiers, some dangly, rattling balls to chase and a soft, plush covering. It’s just under 1m tall but does take up quite a bit of floor space. S’ok, I didn’t want to get at those books anyway.

She plays for ages attacking those balls, climbing over the sisal prongs and swinging off them. When she’s had enough, she settles down on the top platform and keeps an eye on us to make sure we don’t wander off and do something interesting without her.

I did try to get some video of her on there, but as soon as I aimed my phone at her, this is what she did.

Once she’d got distracted by her tree again though, I was able to get this. Not brilliant as it’s in a dark corner, but you can see how much fun she’s having.
