I’ve started on Sammie’s new quilt and have decided to make Snowball blocks. I haven’t tried those before and I think they suit the fabric better than something consisting of lots of small pieces.

I’ve made a start already.

I just need to find the time to finish it off. Then I plan to practise some free-motion quilting on it. Yikes!

    I love snowball blocks but I can’t bear to make them because of the corners being chopped off. I’m obsessed with not creating scraps LOL. Your fabric colours are looking gorgeous together already. Happy Christmas! Avis x
