A slight obsession with books

Sunken Treasures #6

It’s finished! Hooray. And it didn’t take long at all.

I’m really pleased with it, although I did find that the invisible thread used for the beading was like trying to stitch with candy floss.

A few close-ups. Click on one for the gallery.

One of the new charity shop frames could do nicely for this so it might even get put up on the wall soon.

  1. Beautiful!!

  2. What a lovely sampler – very intricate and those colours are lovely and soft.

  3. Very pretty stitches. Lovely colours too. I’ve quilted with invisible thread before. It’s a nightmare! Well done for having the patience to finish with it.

  4. Woot! Well done 🙂 Always lovely to see finishes

  5. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful work. I love the soft colours and the ornate design. This needs to be somewhere really prominent on your wall. 🙂
