It’s finished! Hooray. And it didn’t take long at all.
I’m really pleased with it, although I did find that the invisible thread used for the beading was like trying to stitch with candy floss.
A few close-ups. Click on one for the gallery.
One of the new charity shop frames could do nicely for this so it might even get put up on the wall soon.

What a lovely sampler – very intricate and those colours are lovely and soft.

Thanks. It wasn’t difficult – the stitches are all simple ones, but I love the effect.

Very pretty stitches. Lovely colours too. I’ve quilted with invisible thread before. It’s a nightmare! Well done for having the patience to finish with it.

Thanks 🙂
It was bad enough beading with the invisible thread. I can’t imagine trying to quilt with it :-O

I was machine quilting my Tetris quilt. I wanted the background to be black and for the quilting thread not to show on the brightly coloured blocks. It worked a treat in the end but the machine tensions needed a lot of adjustments.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful work. I love the soft colours and the ornate design. This needs to be somewhere really prominent on your wall. 🙂

Thank you.
I’m hoping to frame it soon and then I just need to find a place for it that’s out of the way of little paws 😛
