SAL – African Sampler #10

This is the scheduled three-weekly post for the SAL that I’m doing with several other crafty blogs.

I’ve finally reached the bottom of the sampler and have done one of my favourite rows. It didn’t take too long and it’s quite simple, but I really love it.

African Sampler - 17

This is how it looks with the rest of the sampler.

African Sampler - 18I’ve also started frogging that row of zebra print that went a bit pear-shaped so hopefully the next update will see that finished, and then I can start working up to the top.

For the stitch-a-long I’m linking up to these lovely blogs:

Avis at Sewing beside the sea
Claire at Claire93
Kate at Tall tales from Chiconia
Gun at Rutigt
Jule at From the boudoir
Wendy at The crafter’s apprentice
Lucy at Lucyannluna
Cathy at NanaCathydotcom
Jacqui at The stitching line
Jess at Ever the crafter

Not everyone does an update each time, but their blogs are always worth a visit.

  4. Oooh, Table Mountain! Perfect as the bottom row. I wish you all the best with the frogging; I’d never have the patience, but it needs to look right to you.

    • Apart from the zebra stripes and a bit of tweaking just below the panels, the bottom half is done. There’s less to do above the panels than below so I’m over half way 😀
