This is the scheduled three-weekly post for the SAL that I’m doing with several other crafty blogs and A whole lotta latte is getting closer to a finish.
This is how it looked last time.
My plan was to do the saucer for the latest cup and I’ve done that, plus all the backstitch that I can, and a couple of drops of coffee on the side.
The fabric has been rolled around the frame a bit more so the top has vanished now. It won’t be seen again until the project is finished, which hopefully won’t be too long now. The last cup and saucer don’t look too fiddly so I’m hoping to get them done for the next update.
For the stitch-a-long I’m linking up to these lovely blogs:
Avis, Claire, Gun, LucyAnn, Kate, Jess, Sue, Constanze, Debbierose, Christina, Kathy,
Margaret, Cindy, Helen, Steph, Linda, Catherine, Mary Margaret, Timothy, Heidi, Connie
Look how many of us there are now! Do allow for people being in different time zones, so not posting all at the same time, but it’s well worth doing a bit of blog hopping to see all the lovely projects that are being worked on.

Thanks. It is great to do something with such bright colours occasionally. It’ll really brighten up my craft room walls if I ever get around to hanging it too LOL

Neither really. I set things up so I can stitch faster but this is a really simple project so doesn’t take as much time as something with lots of confetti.

I said it would be pink or yellow so I was half right lol and this time a few little stitches look pink so I am thinking the next one has a pink rim maybe – I know, I have to wait and see lol.

It does feel good to roll it up to expose lovely new fabric to stitch on. Especially as there’s only one roll left in it 🙂

Not far at all. The last cup and saucer is striped so lots of blocks of colour, which’ll be faster.
