SAL – Snowflake Serenade #02

This is the scheduled three-weekly post for the SAL that I’m doing with several other crafty blogs and I’ve managed to fill in two of the little boxes plus a bit into box three.

This is how it looked at the last update, with the outline and border completed.  This is box one with the pretty snowflake. This didn’t take long, although it took a bit of concentration to get it right. This is box two with a few different things in it. I really enjoyed doing this one. I also made a start on box three, with most of the snow done. I’ll have this box finished for next time, hopefully with box four too.

This is how it all looks at the moment.

For the stitch-a-long I’m linking up to these lovely blogs:
Avis, Claire, Gun, LucyAnnKateJessSueConstanzeDebbierose,
ChristinaKathyMargaret, CindyHelenStephLindaHeidi,
JackieSunnyHayleyMeganCatherine, Deborah, Connie, Clare,
Carmela, Jocelyn, Sharon

Huge apologies for missing Jocelyn off the last update. That’ll teach me to check my email a bit more frequently!

Do allow for people being in different time zones, so not posting all at the same time, but it’s well worth doing a bit of blog hopping to see all the lovely projects that are being worked on.

    • Thanks. Sadly we’ve had no snow to speak of. Just a couple of flakes that didn’t settle. I was looking forward to taking pics of the cats playing in it, although I didn’t want as much as you’ve had 🙂

  7. Though this is so different to the bright and colourful ones you usually stitch Carole, I still love it. This is my sort of stitching I adore samplers.

  12. This piece is so lovely, and your stitching is so neat and tidy! I love these “little boxes” patterns. I don’t think I have anything like it in my stash, but I’m definitely going to look.

  13. This is such a pretty piece and you are moving it right along. I love stitching letters (which is good, I have an alphabet yet to do on mine), especially happy Christmas words. Continued Happy Stitching!!

  17. The background on this is great for the snow. Little boxes are fun, and I’ve not done them in a while, I need to look at my patterns for some like this! You are really flying through this Carole!
