This is the scheduled three-weekly post for the SAL that I’m doing with several other crafty blogs. Last time I hadn’t managed to add any stitches to Pooh bear but I’ve done a little bit for this update. The thought of not having anything to post for the SAL spurred me on.
This is how it was previously. And this is where I’m up to now.
He has a body now but it’ll look a lot better with some backstitch. There’s still quite a bit of flower and grass to be added but it’s getting done, slowly but surely.
I’ve been spending most of my time in the garden or doing papercrafts. That and reading. I’ve also bought some pretty fabric to make some PJ bottoms, although I’ve no idea when I’m going to fit that in LOL
For the stitch-a-long I’m linking up to these lovely blogs:
Avis, Claire, Gun, Sue, Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy, Heidi, Jackie, Sunny, Hayley, Megan, Deborah, Mary Margaret, Renee, Carmela, Jocelyn, Sharon, Daisy, Anne, Connie, AJ, Jenny, Laura, Cathie, Linda, Sherrie
Do allow for people being in different time zones, so not posting all at the same time, but it’s well worth doing a bit of blog hopping to see all the lovely projects that are being worked on.

Thanks.
I still haven’t made time for the PJs yet. Lots to do in the garden plus I’m reorganising part of my craft room. (I think that last bit is procrastination more than anything LOL)

Great progress Carole. I once stitched a Pooh design for my daughter but I hated all those big blocks of yellow and said never again but he is cute. x

I’m finding the big blocks of colour quite nice after the confetti in Precious Dreams, but I am looking forward to getting back to that one now. Just need to finish Pooh first 🙂

The weather is too good to waste. I’ve got all my veggies in now. I’m standing by with fleece just in case it starts snowing or something though LOL

Haha! You never know with our weather. I only had butternut squashes to put in the ground but then sowed a load more seeds. Where I’m going to put them I don’t know. Enjoy the sunshine while you can 🙂

that’s excellent progress, Carole ^^ I too have been out in the garden, helping the husband with a bit of weeding but it really isn’t my scene.

Weeding is not my favourite activity. I much prefer the planting and harvesting bits 😉

Hurray! You got a lot done filling in all that yellow to make pooh bear’s body. Oh it gives me flashbacks to filling pooh in on my last winnie the pooh project, lol!

That’s the only downside to doing this type of stitch. I was glad to finish him, and the rest will be much more interesting.
