SAL – Los gatos – 03

This is the scheduled three-weekly post for the SAL that I’m doing with several other crafty blogs and I’ve done some more on Los Gatos.

I’ve carried on doing just one colour at a time. This is what it looked like last time with all of the yellow done and a start on the dark grey. This is what it looks like with the dark grey finished. I realise this is not the most impressive update πŸ˜‰ I have made a good start on the pale grey, but haven’t taken a photo yet. Hopefully next time I’ll have all the pale grey plus all the dark yellow to show you.

For the stitch-a-long I’m linking up to these lovely blogs.

Avis, Claire, Gun,Β Constanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, Cindy,Β Heidi, Jackie, Sunny,Β Megan, Deborah,Β Mary Margaret, Renee,Β Carmela,Β Sharon, Daisy, Anne, Connie, AJ, Jenny,Β Laura, Cathie, Linda, Helen

Do allow for people being in different time zones, so not posting all at the same time, but it’s well worth doing a bit of blog hopping to see all the lovely projects that are being worked on.

  1. I love this color combination — and I like that you’re stitching by color block (which I usually do) while I’m mentally preparing myself to stitch by section on my next project! πŸ™‚ Can’t wait to see more of the piece fill in.

  2. I see you keep saying grey though it looks more like blue on my picture. Its coming on a treat which ever colour it is. xx

  3. Lots more blue appearing – is there much more blue to do still?

  6. Grey and yellow are a good colour combo, but very under used. I am enjoying it in your work.

  10. I don’t think I could work this piece one color at a time, but I am enjoying watching your progress.

  11. I like how you are doing just one color at a time right now, it makes for a refreshing approach, and it certainly makes it more portable!

    • I like trying something different sometimes. It keeps things interesting. Sadly not portable though as I can’t stitch without my magnifying-light-stand contraption. I’m feeling my age πŸ˜‰
