SAL – Los gatos – 05 1/2

This is the scheduled three-weekly post for the SAL that I’m doing with several other crafty blogs.

I still haven’t managed to do any more on Los Gatos. The arthritis in my hand is improving but I don’t want to push my luck just yet. Just a quick pic to remind you what it looks like, and hopefully I’ll have stitched on it for the next update.

For the stitch-a-long I’m linking up to these lovely blogs.

Avis, Claire, GunConstanze, Christina, Kathy, Margaret, CindyHeidi, Jackie, SunnyMegan, DeborahMary Margaret, ReneeCarmelaSharon, Daisy, Anne, AJ, Jenny, Laura, Cathie, Linda, Helen

Do allow for people being in different time zones, so not posting all at the same time, but it’s well worth doing a bit of blog hopping to see all the lovely projects that are being worked on.

  4. As someone who suffers from arthritis I can fully sympathise Carole. Mine is mainly back, hips and shoulders, and its rare these days to get it in my hand. Does the gp give you Fenbid-Forte or something similar. If not Holland and Barret do a wonderful Glugosamine gel. It usually costs 3.99 but they often have an offer where you get a second one for 1p. They are both great at easing the pain in the knuckles. Hope you feel better soon my dear. xx

    • Thank you 🙂
I have Osteoporosis, and have arthritic damage all over the place but the worst bits are my hands, and my knees,( which need replacing). The GP only prescribed some Capsaicin cream, which was useless. I’m not sure if I can use the Glucosamine as the GP said it would interact with one of my meds. I’m on different meds now so I’ll have to check that out.

    • Thanks. I can always find something to amuse myself. I’ve been doing a bit more scrapbooking as it keeps my hands moving without anything too repetitive. Plus lots of reading 🙂
