I love crocheting blankets, scarves, bags and anything that doesn’t need to fit. My one attempt at making an interestingly-shaped cardigan turned out a bit too interesting.

Your slipper pattern looks much easier than mine! I wish I’d gone simpler…Mine is from Craftsy and is the braided knit look stitch. I’m having difficulty with the directions after the sole. Frustrated. I made a toddler pair using that stitch only using my own intuition and they turned out great. Now for the adult size…

The one I made was quite easy. The top and soles are done separately and then crocheted together. Good instructions for making it fit too.
